PostSubject: Alexandria Emergency Hospital   Thu Jul 24, 2008 3:18 pm

I bring my dog to the Alexandria Emergency Hospital. The techs and vets are nice and I think they take good care of her, but they are expensive and they tend to "overtreat". She had a UTI and during tests they found her white blood cells to be elevated. Although nothing physically appears to be wrong with her, they wanted to do an ultrasound!

She also got bite by another dog, small bite but it did need to be taken care of. They required that she stay overnight, be put under sedation and charged me $1000 for the work. I thought that was a bit extreme.

I like them for just routine care, but I am looking for another place for emergencies or anything "special" that she needs done.
